TERMS, CONDITIONS AND NOTICES

Globetrotter Travel LLC looks forward to the opportunity to act as your travel booking agent. We provide a travel planning and booking service to our customers and manage your trip plans from start to finish. These terms, conditions, and notices describe what to expect from us, as well as your obligations as a customer. Globetrotter Travel LLC acts only as a travel booking agent for the client in acquiring transportation, hotel accommodations, sightseeing and other privileges, or services for the customer, and on the express condition that Globetrotter Travel LLC shall not be responsible for any loss, accident, injury, delay, defect, cost, or omission or irregularity which may occur, whether by reason of any act, negligence or default of any company or person engaged in or responsible for carrying out any of the arrangements, or otherwise in connection therewith. Globetrotter Travel LLC is not responsible for any penalties, fees, or charges that may occur due to modification or cancellation of a reservation – the customer assumes responsibility for these expenses. No refund can be made to the customer for unused services, unused transportation, unused sightseeing, unconsumed meals included in the package, (Breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea) or for voluntary modifications made by the customer.

NOTICES

CHECK-IN - Minimum check-in for domestic flights is 90 minutes and for international flights, 2 hours. Be prepared to present a government issued photo i.d. at the ticket counter.

RECONFIRMATION - Reconfirm the use and time of flights at least 24 hours for domestic and 72 hours for international. Failure to use any reservations may result in automatic cancellation of all continuing and return reservations.

EXCURSION AND PROMOTIONAL FARES - Most discount fares involve certain restrictions. A change in carrier(s) flight(s), time(s) or routing(s) could result in a carrier demanding a full fare. Obtain agency or airline assistance before making changes.If your plans change en-route, contact the travel agency or call the after-hours service number for your supplier for assistance. Additional charges may apply.

TICKETS - Most tickets have value. Any unused flight coupons must be returned in order to determine refund value. Lost, stolen or destroyed tickets must be paid for until refund is received from the issuing carrier, subject to an airline imposed service charge. It is not necessary to purchase a new ticket if a refund is due. Please cancel your reservation prior to flight time or ticket will have no value. These times, flights and fares are based on current tariffs that are subject to change without notice.

HOTELS are usually confirmed on a guaranteed payment basis. If you cancel or change plans, please notify your hotel(s) within the time period specified by that hotel. Rules may vary by property and the rate that your reservation is made under.

IMPORTANT - If you are at an airline ticket or passenger check-in counter with your confirmed ticket and find that the airline shows no reservations for you, do not leave the counter. Check your ticket. If the status box shows "OK" for the flight in question, the airline must accommodate you on that flight, or if that is not possible, they must either find a substitute flight or pay you denied boarding compensation. If necessary ask to speak to a supervisor.

We work with and sell a variety of different travel products from many service providers and suppliers. The customer will be entering into a separate contract with the supplier or suppliers for their particular travel arrangements. Each of these suppliers has their own sets of terms and conditions that apply to the customer’s travel arrangements. These supplier terms and conditions are in addition to those of Globetrotter Travel LLC. It is important that the customer makes sure they understand all terms and conditions applicable to their travel arrangements.

Globetrotter Travel LLC reserves the right to charge a processing fee in the event of cancellation or refund. Vacation/trip prices are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations, tariff changes or increase in operational costs. In addition, group tours/packages are based on a minimum number of passengers traveling: if the number of passengers falls below the minimum required, a surcharge may be imposed on all passengers.

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify travel documents for accuracy immediately after receiving them. Your travel documents are valuable and cannot always be replaced. Any errors or discrepancies on the travel documents should be brought to the attention of Globetrotter Travel LLC immediately.

The payment of a deposit allows us to hold a reservation, but does not guarantee the price. Often, these deposits are non-refundable and again, it is the customer’s responsibility to make sure they understand the terms and conditions of their particular vacation supplier. Once full payment is received and the travel documents have been issued, the price can be guaranteed, subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier. Globetrotter Travel LLC will inform you of the date that full payment is due. Once the payment is made in full, the conditions of the contract with the supplier may allow them to increase the price of your arrangements due to a variety of factors. As your travel booking agent, we will inform you of any such increases/changes as we become aware of them. By providing your credit card information, you are authorizing us to apply the payments necessary to the particular supplier/s.

The contract with your particular travel supplier may allow them to make changes or cancel a booking. As your travel booking agent, we will make you aware of any changes as we become aware of them. If we are made aware that your airline has made a significant schedule change before you leave the United States, we will alert you by email of this change. After you have left the United States, it is up to the customer to confirm that your flights are operating as scheduled. Globetrotter Travel LLC has no control over airline schedule changes or other supplier changes and does not accept responsibility or liability for any changes or costs that may be incurred as a result of these changes/cancellations. Should changes or cancellation take place, subject to the terms and conditions of the customer’s contract with the supplier, we will do our best to come to an agreeable resolution for all parties.

Many airlines charge fees for a variety of options including baggage, seat assignment, services, and more. It is the responsibility of the customer to research and understand the fees associated with their particular airline. Globetrotter Travel LLC has no control over airline fees and is not responsible for any additional charges the customer incurs due to airline fees or extras.

Should the customer encounter a problem while you are on your trip, please inform the relevant supplier (the hotel, cruise line, tour company, etc.) immediately. If the supplier is unable to satisfactorily resolve the issue, contact Globetrotter Travel LLC, and we will work on your behalf to come to an agreeable resolution with the supplier.

Globetrotter Travel LLC recommends that customer’s research and review the U.S. Government’s warnings and advisories that apply to your destination, prior to booking international travel. By offering travel products and services in particular destinations, we don’t represent that traveling to or in such destinations is without risk. Citizens of the United States should refer to the travel advice on the U.S. Department of State for all the countries on your itinerary. Some or all of the countries on your trip may require vaccinations and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have arranged those vaccinations prior to departure.

The customer is responsible for fulfilling the passport, immigration, and visa requirements that apply to your travel itinerary. These details should be confirmed with the appropriate embassies and/or consulates. Globetrotter Travel LLC does not accept responsibility for customers who are unable to travel due to noncompliance with these requirements.

Globetrotter Travel LLC strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip. There are different types of medical, baggage or trip cancellations insurance available from many suppliers and third party travel insurance companies. Insurance coverage varies by provider and may not cover pre-existing conditions. Globetrotter Travel LLC can provide the customer information on the travel insurance options that are available and customers can consult the insurance carriers directly for specific details. Trip insurance or waivers provided by the supplier may not offer insolvency coverage.

Disclaimer of Liability – Globetrotter Travel LLC is a travel agency acting as a mere agent for suppliers in selling travel-related services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services that are not directly supplied by this travel agency (such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). This agency, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract of any intentional or careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, or injury to you or your travel companions or group members. Unless the term "guaranteed" is specifically stated in writing on your tickets, invoice, or reservation itinerary, we do not guarantee any of such suppliers' rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling, or handling of personal effects. Globetrotter Travel LLC shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, criminal acts or abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the travel booking agent's control. The customer assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases the agent from any duty of, checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safely or security conditions at such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel. For information concerning possible dangers at international destinations, contact the Travel Advisory Section of the U.S. State Department. For medical information, consult the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. By embarking upon his/her travel, the customer voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. The customer is hereby warned of such risks, and is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against them. The customer’s retention of tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent to the above, and an agreement on his/her part to convey the contents hereto to his/her travel companions or group members.
Proof of identity is required for all travel. Without proper identification, or passport and necessary visas you will not be permitted to depart. It is your responsibility to verify your necessary travel documents.
